Born in 1959 in Athens, I already have a degree in the field of Electronic & Electrical Εngineering, as a graduate of the School of Pedagogical and Technological Education (A.S.PE.T.E.), Democritus University of Thrace (D.U.TH.) and of the Postgraduate Programme of the Nasional Technical University Of Athens (N.T.U.A.). I work as a Technical Teacher in Secontary Vocational Education, but I’ve consistently meet and in places of Public Education that require leadership skills, such as responsible with administrative duties, Deputy Director and Director of Public-Institute of Vocational Training (VET), but and as a Trainer of Adults. At the same time, from 15 years, I have participated actively as a member, and in the last few years as President, the Union of Users and Friends of Linux Greek – Hellenic Linux Users Group (HEL.L.U.G.), a non-profit Club, with the object of spreading the philosophy, familiarity, the use of Free Open Source Software (F.O.S.S.) and of course, productivity for all, or at least those who can do so, with these programs. Therefore, I have been directly involved with the dimension of volunteering and I have implemented in numerous projects of the Union, and more generally to society as a whole, but particularly in the Public Schools of Primary & Secontary Education. In some cases, I have received for this projects, honors. While I have a lot of experience in the use of computers, especially with the F.O.S.Software and tools Web 2.0.
