Spiros Skiadopoulos

Spiros Skiadopoulos is currently a Professor at the Dept. of Informatics and Telecommunications at University of the Peloponnese. He received a diploma and a PhD degree from the National Technical University of Athens and an MPhil degree from Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST). He has worked in a variety of areas including databases, artificial intelligence and knowledge representation and reasoning. His current research interests include big data management and processing (e.g., very large graph, string and time series data). He has an internationally acknowledged scientific contribution that includes several publications in journals and conferences and a large number of citations. Moreover, he had served in the program committee of several venues and participated in various research and development projects.
